What are you doing?
I still trying to get my head around all the new technological wonders I have been experiencing the past two weeks. I dont think that I’ve signed up for so many new networks, app., systems or whatnot. Both in work-related stuff and in pure social form. Here is a list of the new web based stuff I’ve started using the past two weeks:
Twitter, Yammer, Basecamp, Campfire, Backpack, Action Method Online, GoogleGroups, NING, blip.fm, GoogleReader..
Maybe I have forgotten some… But I think this is pretty much it. – I have heard about several more but have not had the capacity to join more. I think I might be a bit overloaded… I mean, I can for sure see the point in many of them.. Work wise, some of them are project management systems that allows you to create an on-line project plan that can be accessed from anywhere which enables group work from different locations – and a constant sharing of knowledge. Which in theory I like. One of the systems I like the best but have used the least, so far, is Action Method Online developed by Behance, NYC. It is the on-line project management systems I have see so far that contains most features in one system.
The “analogue” romantic in me is really stretching right now! – There are many things in me that feels sad about this development and I sometimes think that my ears are going to fall off if I hear WEB 2.0 some one goddamn time!! I miss human contact and I only see these on-line systems as a means to make human contact even more meaningful. When I’m at my most positive I see this as a way of keeping whats most important the most important. Relationships with other people. So, if you have all the “factual” information taken care of “virtually” and on-line you can concentrate on other and more “real” things in the actual physical meeting with another person and don’t have to spend time of status reports and summaries. This is, at least, the way I chose to see these tools right now. As tools for more meaningful interactions. Prove me wrong!?
Twitter is also damn interesting. I’ve just started using it and having a hard time making up my mind whether or not I should continue. I demands very little from me, virtually nothing, I just have to create I profile and then I can start following people. Great, and I have gotten interesting people to follow and have already found interesting things that these interesting people have Tweeted about. Jeah. Some people are even following me! wtf? Now they think I’m “an interesting people” and want to know what interesting things an interesting person like me is up to! So, what should I seem like I’m the most interesting person I know and only, ONLY, Tweet things when its REALLY interesting or should I just show them how interesting a day in the interesting life of me really can be!? – “Now, I’m getting out of bed.” “On my way to work.” “I’m eating rugbrød with spegepølse” <— Would that be interesting for you? Or maybe it’s because I’m not interesting enough. What if I was totally famous and interesting. Wouldn’t it be more interesting then?
I’m still making up my mind.

New Project!
Tomorrow I’m starting my Final Project at The Kaospilots and I will be working with the talented people at Spoiled Milk.
I’ll be working as a Strategic Consultant exploring how to make their future strategy even stronger. They are a really cool bunch of people and look very much forward to see where is project will take us.
Here is the very nice presentation of the new people starting at Spoiled Milk: (click the image to go to their blog)
This also means that I’m moving from Århus til Copenhagen, today – which will be a nice change. I have love for Århus aka. Dead City and after living here for 6 years and through all of those year have been working to make Århus a better and more fun place – I need a change of scenery. I’ll be living right in the heart of Nørrebro and I’m looking forward.

Family.
Since the 20th of January loads of heaps of things have been rattling around in my life. Its wonderful and its evocative when you face many new things in a very short period of time.
So, in order not to become to “pocket-philosophical”, or “and thats my two cent” – I put up something that is a constant.
Family.
This my brother, my sister and me.

Journey, time and numbers…
I started a journey the 27th of October at 5am – going to San Francisco.
This journey culminated the 21th of December at 5am – going to bed.
—————————————————————————————————————–
The last three days of this journey – the final build-up to this culmination began on Thursday the 18th of December at 1pm.
It has included:
1 flight from San Francisco to Los Angeles
1 Flight from Los Angeles to London
1 Flight from London to Copenhagen
1 Train ride from Copenhagen to Århus.
1 Walk with my two great friends and roommates Morten and Jon with a bottle of “welcome-home Gammel Dansk” in my hand
1 Frantic short run in my winter boots due to over-tiredness, jet-lag and general excitement
1 Fantastic night with great people at The Crib ending at 6am Saturday morning.
6 hours of sleep in total.
1 Hectic and fun day of preparing the SA19 JULEFROKOST starting at 10am Saturday morning.
36 Good people in my room, eating, drinking and talking.
1 of the best nights with so many good friends from so many different places and parts of my life.
121 Pictures.
This is the one I like best:

I feel privileged to live the life I do – To know the people I know – to have the possibilities I have.
I wish all a very merry Christmas.
